He died for you. He did it willingly. He could have told us to go fly a kite and go live his life but that was not his mission. His mission was to save mankind. He was born to die! He could have walked away and said no but he did the will of the father!
John 3:16 “For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that whosoever believe in him should not perish but have ever lasting life.”
John 14:6 “I am the Way, The Truth, The Life. No man come to the Father but by me!”
Romans 3:21-26 “21 But now apart from the law the righteousness of God has been made known, to which the Law and the Prophets testify. 22 This righteousness is given through faith in[a] Jesus Christ to all who believe. There is no difference between Jew and Gentile, 23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, 24 and all are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus. 25 God presented Christ as a sacrifice of atonement,[b] through the shedding of his blood—to be received by faith. He did this to demonstrate his righteousness, because in his forbearance he had left the sins committed beforehand unpunished— 26 he did it to demonstrate his righteousness at the present time, so as to be just and the one who justifies those who have faith in Jesus.”
I am going to be brutally honest. All those religions out there are all fine and good but they won’t get you to the Father. They can’t guarantee you anything. Someone said to me that “Allah” was the way. I asked him, what has Allah done for me. He had to think for a minute. I said to him that Jesus did what no other God in this world has done. He died for me. He put his life on the line so that I might be saved and washed in his blood and love.
Through His death, he opened the way to the Father. (“Matthew 27:46 – 50 About the ninth hour Jesus cried out with a loud voice, saying, “Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani?” that is, “My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me?” 47 And some of those who were standing there, when they heard it, began saying, “This man is calling for Elijah.” 48 Immediately one of them ran, and taking a sponge, he filled it with sour wine and put it on a reed, and gave Him a drink. 49 But the rest of them said, “[a]Let us see whether Elijah will come to save Him[b].” 50 And Jesus cried out again with a loud voice, and yielded up His spirit.) and at that moment the veil that separated us from the Holy of Holys was ripped in two and we no longer had to be afraid to seek the face of God.
The joy of Salvation goes beyond the death of Jesus. His resurrection is so wonderful. He defeated death. He showed that when we die if we are in Christ, we will go the be with the Father.
Isaiah speaks about the death of Christ. It is a prophesy that came true. Everything that happens in the chapter happened to Jesus. You can read it here if you desire. Isaiah 53
I could go into more detail and make this letter longer and longer. What I am trying to say is that Jesus loves you and if you give him the chance you will find your life changed for the better. You will be filled with the spirit and have the biggest family of all behind you. Some you already work with from time to time.
I can’t make you take Jesus. That would be shoving Jesus down your throat and that is not what Jesus did. He laid it all on the line and then stepped back and let them decide. You have free will. God gave it to you for a reason. He didn’t want robots to worship him. He wanted us to come to him willingly.
I took Jesus as my own 43 years ago and have walked with Him ever since. It’s not been easy and being laughed at is not a treat. It use to be that being a Christian was a disease that needed to be treated like dementia and it’s not. Being a Christian is not a religion but rather a relationship with the One True Living God.
I leave you Jesus. Yours to take or not. I will continue to pray for you and that you come to Jesus in time.
